Writing with style - nostalgia meets modernity! The first glass pen is said to have been made in the 17th century on Murano, an island in Venice (Italy) famous for its rich glassmaking tradition.
The glass pen is lovingly handcrafted in front of the flame.
In contrast to a tapered nib, the ribbon nib allows the typeface to change between fine and bold type depending on the direction in which it is moved.
The additional hand- grinding of the nib guarantees the excellent writing properties of the glass pen. Ergonomics is an important feature for a sophisticated and clean typeface. Dip the nib in different colored inks. The capillary force causes the ink to adhere to the outer grooves of the tip and is slowly released as you write.
The glass pen is delivered including a neutral cardboard box.
Detailed information on how to use is also included.
Clean the glass nib with water after each use and dry it with a soft paper towel.
