Writing with style - nostalgia meets modernity! The first glass pen is said to have been made in the 17th century on Murano, an island in Venice (Italy) famous for its rich glassmaking tradition.
The glass pen is lovingly handcrafted in front of the flame.
Steaming with silver creates an incredible variety of shades and color nuances.
The lighting conditions play an important role, on a lighter background you can see the patterns, if you darken the background these patterns often pop out even more, creating the effect that changes the colors. The background color of the vaporized area is also crucial here.
The additional hand- grinding of the nib guarantees the excellent writing properties of the glass pen. Ergonomics is an important feature for a sophisticated and clean typeface. Dip the nib in different colored inks. The capillary force causes the ink to adhere to the outer grooves of the tip and is slowly released as you write.
The glass pen is delivered including a neutral cardboard box.
Detailed information on how to use is also included.
Clean the glass nib with water after each use and dry it with a soft paper towel.
